HERO

A hybrid score I wrote for Hero, an impressive action animation, provided courtesy of @The Cue Tube. All drums, orchestra and synths a'blazing for this one! In case you didn't know, a hybrid score mixes a traditional symphony orchestra with synths and samples. 

THE LOST PIANO

My entry for the Westwood Scoring Competition, featuring fabulours actor Dennis Gerald based on an idea by Rob Hill.

I also played violin on this one.

SIDE EFFECT

Opening music that gives just that bit of tension you need in this kind of movie to know that something isn't quite right... but you don't know what. I really enjoyed using some of Spitfire's perhaps lesser used libraries and the sound possibilities they offer, mixing unusual playing techniques, unconventional instruments, and organic synth patches.
